Translate a Word document without losing the layout

Styles, tables, images: the Translation agent gives your Word file back translated, as it was, in eleven languages.

Two document pages with the same layout, joined by an arrow.

In short

  • [01]Attach the file, pick the language: you get the same document back, translated.
  • [02]Styles, tables, images and layout stay intact.
  • [03]A PDF or a scan is rebuilt as a Word file.

The trouble with copy and paste

Pasting a document into a translator loses its formatting: headings, tables, lists, images. Then everything has to be laid out again by hand, which often takes longer than the translation itself.

How to do it with Kalyos

  1. 1Pick the Translation agent from the composer.
  2. 2Attach your Word, PowerPoint or Excel file, or paste your text.
  3. 3Choose the target language.
  4. 4Download the translated file.

Supported formats

For a Word, PowerPoint or Excel file, you get the translated file back with its styles, tables, images and layout intact.

A txt, md or csv file comes back in the same format, and a PDF or a scan is rebuilt as a Word file.

A faithful translation, not a rewrite

The agent keeps the original's register and corrects nothing on the way. To improve a text, use the Rewrite agent.

Eleven languages

English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish, Arabic, Chinese and Japanese.
